How To Place A Prescription Order With PetMedsnMore.com

  1.  Place the product(s) you wish to purchase in your Shopping Cart.
     
  2.  During the checkout process you will be prompted for all of the information we require to process your order.  Failure to provide all of the requested information may result in a delay in processing your order.
     
  3.  Enter your billing information.  We will authorize your credit card, and a hold will be placed on the authorized funds. We will only complete the charge on your card once your order has been processed and is ready to be shipped from our warehouse.
     
  4. That's it.  We'll take care of the rest.  We will contact your Veterinarian by phone or fax to obtain the prescription authorization for you.

You will receive an email when any of the following events occur:

  • Your order has been accepted by our system.
  • We have contacted your Veterinarian.
  • Your Prescription has been authorized by your Veterinarian.
  • Your Veterinarian declined to authorize your prescription.
  • Your order has left our warehouse.

  3. Are veterinarians required under state law or regulation to write prescriptions upon client request, assuming that a patient/client relationship exists and that the vet is already willing to dispense the medication in question from the clinic's own stock?
     
    The following states require a prescription to be written upon request:

    Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Wyoming

    Although other States may not require a prescription be written, failure to do so is considered a breach of ethics by the American Veterinary Medical Association.

     

  4. Does PetMedsnMore.com have a product guarantee?
    Yes, we guarantee you'll get the same the exact medication prescribed by your Veterinarian.  All of the medications we sell are fully approved for sale and use in the United States, and are FDA/EPA/USDA approved.
     
  5. What information is needed to purchase a prescription medication?
    In addition to your pet's information we'll need your Veterinarian's name and phone number.
     
  6. Do I need a prescription to purchase medications?
    If you are purchasing prescription medication, all we need is your Veterinarian's name and phone number.  We will contact them for authorization, there is no need for you to do anything else!
     
     
  7. Does PetMedsnMore.com dispense prescription medications without a Veterinarian's authorization?
    No. All prescription medications must have an authorization before they are dispensed.

  9. Does PetMedsnMore.com sell medication not appoved for sale in the USA?
    No, we sell only USDA/FDA/EPA approved medications. It is the same exact medication sold by your Veterinarian
     
  10. Do you have free shipping?
    Yes, all orders over $99 are shipped, free of charge.  For orders under $99, there is a $6.99 shipping fee.
     
  11. How are your orders shipped?
    We ship UPS Ground (within 7 business days), UPS 3 Day Air (3 business days), UPS 2nd Day Air (2 business days), and UPS Next Day Air (next business day).

    Most orders placed Friday, and all orders placed Saturday and Sunday ship the next business day (Monday). Prescription medication may take longer due to the authorization process.  UPS will pick up packages Monday through Friday only.

    There is an $11 change of address fee if the package is already in transit.  This applies to UPS only.

    All orders for Alaska and Hawaii require either 3 Day Air, 2nd Day Air or Overnight shipping.  Please select your expedited delivery option during checkout.

  12. How do I cancel my order?
    You can cancel your order anytime prior to your order leaving our warehouse by simply sending an email to: support@petmedsnmore.com.  Please reference your order number in your email. 
     
  13. What is your return policy?
    PetMedsnMore.com offers a 30 day satisfaction guarantee on all nonprescription medication.  Federal law prohibits us from accepting returns on prescription medication
     
  14. How do I dispose of unused medication?
    Please refer to the FDA Website for instructions on the proper way to dispose of unused medication.
